The Miss Universe 2010 competition is all set to go with a live show from Las Vegas on Monday, Aug. 23, 2010. The contestants will have to impress
a star-studded panel of judges that includes
Criss Angel.
Evan Lysacek and
Chynna Phillips.

OnTheRedCarpet.com. We talked with a few more contestants to give us a scoop on their winning edge.
So what was the strangest thing Jesinta Campbell, Miss Australia 2010, had to do to try and get a step up on the competition? "Probably getting hair extensions, that was really weird for me. I’ve never dyed my hair or done anything to my hair, so that was really bizarre, having someone else’s hair." Poison frontman and recent
Celebrity Apprentice winner
Bret Michaels and NBC correspondent Natalie Morales will be hosting the event, which includes 83 worldwide competitors fighting for the title of Miss Universe. The 2009 winner, Stefania Fernandez, will hand off her crown.
John Legend & The Roots will perform during the evening gown competition. During the swimsuit competition, Viva ELVIS by Cirque du Soleil will perform a medley of songs from the show.
