Revealing secrets of Miss Earth 2007 in Vietnam

The swimming pool at Vinpearl, where contestants will show their bodies in swimsuits VietNamNet Bridge – The special contest of Miss Earth 2007 in Vietnam this year is co-organised by three agencies of Vietnam, Elite Beauty Vietnam, Vinpearl Land company, Thanh Nien newspaper and Crousel Company of the Philippines. According to plan, 30 beauties will fly to Vinpearl tourist site in Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province on October 30. They will meet with journalists and have a tour of Vinpearl on the same day. On October 31, they will participate in many activities such as taking photographs, planting trees, cleaning beaches, visiting a village for orphans and poor children. The Miss Earth pageant contest is not simply a beauty contest but one to campaign for a greener and cleaner earth. Thus, 30 contestants will have to try their best to show off their knowledge and ideas in cleaning the environment. This is the first time this contest is being held in three places in two countries (Vietnam and the Philippines) at the same time. The best ones will go to Manila, the Philippines for the final night on November 11. Besides official activities for the Miss Earth 2007, the 30 contestants and Miss Earth 2006 Hil Hernandez will attend the Gala Dinner at Vinpearl Resort & Spa, which will see performances by famous Vietnamese singers like Ho Ngoc Ha, Hien Thuc and Duc Tuan. Beauties will meet with and take photographs with Vietnamese audiences at this gala. In addition, the ao dai of Vietnamese contestant, Truong Tri Truc Diem, will be auctioned for charity at the gala. Director of Elite Beauty Vietnam, Thuy Hanh, revealed that the preparation was nearly complete thanks to the good cooperation among four organisers. A modern stage with 1,500 seats is ready for the contest. A video clip of the operations of 30 contestants at Vinpearl will be made to present on the final night in Manila.
