Many of the pictures show the beauty queen exposing herself to the camera, kissing and fondling other semi-nude women in a bar. As the current title holder, who was just crowned in October, Miss Nevada is scheduled to represent her state at the Miss USA pageant to be held in Los Angeles this spring.
On Wednesday, representatives for the Miss USA pageant say that they're looking into the matter of the photos, but are not commenting.
As ET reported Tuesday, DONALD TRUMP held a press conference to address recent allegations against current Miss USA titleholder, TARA CONNER, who was expected to be stripped of the crown because of her recent misconduct.
But in a surprise move, Trump announced that the embattled beauty queen would be given another chance.
"This has been a very difficult time for the Miss USA pageant," he said. "Especially for our current Miss USA."
As co-owner of the pageant, he was unsure about the decision to allow her to hold on to the title until meeting with Conner personally. "Until this morning, I didn't know which way it was going to go," he said. "After speaking to her, I saw not only a beautiful young woman but someone who had a big heart."
Saying that Conner "got caught up in the whirlwind that is New York," The Donald announced he concluded that she deserved a chance to redeem herself. "I've always been a believer in second chances," he said. "Tara is a good person, Tara has tried hard, Tara is going to be given a second chance ... she's a good person. If she wasn't a good person, I wouldn't have done this, believe me."
He added that "many of the allegations about Tara were false," but would not comment on drug testing or get into further specifics.
To help her get back on track, Conner has agreed to go into rehab.
Conner -- who just turned 21 on Monday -- had been spotted drinking and bar-hopping around New York City prior to turning the legal drinking age. She has also reportedly failed to make promotional appearances and fulfill other obligations that come with the Miss USA crown.
"In no way did I think it would be possible for a second chance to be given to me," Tara said at this morning's press conference. "I want to apologize to my family," she said tearfully. "I swear I will not let you down."
Miss USA is expected to act as a role model for young women. In light of her misconduct, Trump said he felt she could "do a tremendous service to young people" as an example for troubled youth.
Since moving to New York after winning the beauty pageant, the Kentucky native reportedly ended her engagement with her high school sweetheart and has been romantically linked to several club promoters and celebrities such as BLINK 182 drummer TRAVIS BARKER.

Miss USA is in jeopardy of losing her crown for inappropriate behavior. And Miss Nevada's behavior has been under investigation, too.
Allegations have surfaced concerning the reigning Miss Nevada, Katie Rees's, behavior. Alicia Jacobs spoke to the Miss Universe Organization, which oversees the pageant. They say they have thoroughly investigated the situation.
The investigation stems from several photographs of 22 year old Katie Rees which appear on a MySpace page. The page belongs to Tiffany Masters, who promotes companies called "Vegas Arm Charms" and "VIP Eye Candy", which they call a legitimate escort service.
It's important to remember the website does not belong to Rees and it is impossible for her to control where her photos show up. Miss Universe officials say their investigation finds the allegations unsubstantiated, but say they, "can't comment on the final resolution of this matter."
