MISS Australia Scherri-Lee Biggs is putting together her campaign for the Miss Universe competition that will be held in Brazil in September.
Biggs was in Melbourne with Spanish shoe designer Angel Azorin in her new role as an ambassador for Nova shoes.
Her evening-wear dress for the big competition will be a creation by Sydney designer Sylvia Lee and her national dress will be made by Perth swimwear label Kooey.
Biggs, who has a Melbourne connection with boyfriend Lachlan Smith, said it had finally sunk in she was Miss Australia.
"It was a bit overwhelming at the beginning but I've settled in now," she said.
"I'm really enjoying it and, if this is like the rest of the year is like, then I'm looking forward to it."
Like previous Miss Australias, Biggs hopes to have a career in television once the pageant is over
