Kieu Khanh to compete in Miss World 2010 pageant

Nguyen Ngoc Kieu Khanh, the first runner-up of the Miss Vietnam Global 2010 pageant will represent Vietnam to take part in Miss World 2010 in  China, announced the Department of Performing Arts under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Kieu Khanh, 19, a Vietnamese living in Germany, is 1.76 meters tall and weighs 53 kilograms. She also crowned Miss Beach of Miss Vietnam Global 2010.

Fashion designers Hoang Hai and Elizabeth will prepare evening gowns for the beauty. She will also wear casual clothes designed by Michell Ngo and ao dai by Vo Viet Chung, one of the country's top designers.

The 60th Miss World pageant will be held from October 1 to 30. The final will take place in the city of Sanya, located in China’s Hainan province.

Contestants from over 120 countries will be competing in Miss World’s 60th Final which will begin Miss World’s diamond anniversary year.
