Karena hits the beach to forget all about her Miss Universe flop

MODEL Karena Graham will put her embarrassing faux-pas at the Miss Universe Ireland contest behind her later this month, when she jets to Marbella in Spain with a bunch of gal-pals.

The Assets beauty, who was left red-faced when she drew a blank on stage after being asked a question about pageants by judge on the night, former Miss World Rosanna Davison, will hit the beach alongside fellow model Hayley Ryan in an attempt to put the incident behind her.

Gorgeous Hayley (22) was among those on hand to offer her support on the night, having jetted home from her adopted home of Ibiza especially to attend.

The DCU student, who will be familiar to many as the face of TV3's Xpose, is now back in the sun-kissed party isle alongside fellow catwalk queens Michele McGrath and Louise Kavanagh.

"I'll be staying here for three more weeks and then I'm going to fly on to Marbella to meet up with Karena Graham, who is heading over in the next couple of weeks," Hayley explained.

"Michele and Louise are over here on a holiday as well so we'll all be hanging out together during the week.

"My brother's over here. too, along with a few of his friends and some of the girls I'm friendly with from home so there's a big gang of us.

"I'm not working. I'm just taking it easy and relaxing. Luckily I had saved a lot during the year," she added.
