Jesinta Campbell heads back to school

IT was back to school for Miss Universe Australia Jesinta Campbell this morning when she returned to Aquinas College.

Jesinta spoke to the college assembly about her struggles in Sydney and her climb to the top.

She then did a tour of the music, drama and dancing rooms, some of which have been renovated.

At the assembly her former drama teacher Arthur Henry got her to play the bongoes, something she taught other kids to do while at the school.

Jesinta said she jumped at the chance to return to the college.

''It was such an integral part of making me who I am,'' she said.

''When I first came here I walked through the doors and knew it was the school for me.

''Everyone was so welcoming.''
