She should have just said nyet.
A Russian beauty queen was busted outside a Manhattan pharmacy after she used a stolen prescription pad to fill a phony Rx for painkillers, prosecutors said yesterday.
Anna Malova, 38, a former Miss Russia winner and Miss Universe finalist, stole the pad from a West Side doctor and then forged a prescription for 85 Vicodin pills, according to the Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor.
A pharmacist at Ansonia Pharmacy on Sixth Avenue in the West Village alerted authorities after Malova filled a prescription last month.
When she returned Tuesday afternoon for a refill, narcotics officers were waiting.
Wearing a black, fur-lined jacket and jeans and carrying a Burberry plaid umbrella when she was busted, Malova told a Fox 5 News reporter -- who had been tipped off to the arrest -- "I don't know what happened."
She was charged with criminal possession of narcotics, forgery and criminal impersonation of a physician. She was arraigned Tuesday night and was being held in lieu of $2,000 bail.
Malova also has an open case with the Manhattan DA's Office on similar charges.
She allegedly stole a prescription pad from a different doctor in November to get 90 Vicodin pills from a Walgreens on Fourth Avenue in the East Village.
The 1998 Miss Universe finalist was a doctor in Russia but isn't licensed to practice in the United States.
Her work as a doctor -- along with her moves in dance and artistic gymnastics -- impressed pageant judges, who placed her in the top 10 at the Miss Universe competition.
Malova was once linked romantically with billionaire hedge-fund honcho George Soros and comedian Garry Shandling. She moved to New York after the 1998 pageant to launch a modeling career.
Days before Malova was busted, a scandal erupted involving the new Miss USA, Rima Fakih.
After Fakih was crowned Sunday, photos of her pole dancing in 2007 hit the Internet, along with a picture of her posing with dollar bills stuffed into her bra.
Pageant officials said Fakih, 24, will proceed with a planned media tour.
