HAVING wowed beauty judges in the Bahamas, Miss Universe Australia Rachael Finch is home and charting her working future - but still finding time to party.
The 21-year-old has been flooded with media requests and invitations since returning this week after the Miss Universe pageant, in which she came fourth.
First function on her list was her "welcome home" party at Pink Salt in Double Bay last night, at which she shimmered despite battling a cold and losing her voice.
Finch will be appearing on Channel 10's 7pm Project on Monday and also has been lined up as a guest star on Rove in coming weeks but said she had rejected an offer of taking part in the upcoming Celebrity MasterChef because of her rusty cooking skills.
"I'm just looking forward to getting back into the swing of things," she said.
"I'm just going to take things one day at a time.
"I'm not going to do MasterChef because I'm not prepared. I haven't been cooking in a kitchen for four months now."
The party was the first of many planned in her honour, with homecoming celebrations in her hometown of Townsville, Melbourne and Perth.
