He has a beauty queen fixation. “Every woman is beautiful in my eyes. I love to enhance that beauty as a designer,” explained Vikram, adding, “Marc Robinson has choreographed the show and done a perfect job of bringing out the best in the PFMI girls.”
This is the first time two established designers have joined in a show. “That’s because we need to be realistic in these times of global meltdown,” said Vikram and Nandita. His collection has a mix of Indian and fusion wear, while she will play up ‘prints’. Models will sport high socks, stoles and scarves. “This will be a Bohemian line with an edgy contemporary style,” revealed Nandita.
As for the aspiring Miss Indias, they are super-excited to be doing an international fashion event already. “This will be a great platform and we are confident to make a mark,” said the young finalists.
