Some of India’s most beautiful women – Pantaloons Femina Miss India World 2007 Sarah Jane Dias, Pantaloons Femina Miss India Universe 2007 Puja Gupta, Pantaloons Femina Miss India Earth 2007 and Miss Earth Air 2007 Pooja Chitgopekar, Pantaloons Femina Miss India International 2007 Esha Gupta and Pantaloons Femina Miss India Finalist 2007 Nova Krishnan – were there to up the glam quotient of the evening. These pretty ladies also feature in the calendar.
Fash frat in attendance:
Models, designers, make-up artists... they all turned up to have a dekko at the sizzling calendar and have some fun. Jattinn Kochhar, Puja Nayyar, Blossom Kochhar, Leena Singh and Samantha Kochhar were among those present. Model Mrinalini Tyagi lamented, “I was in Goa for the film festival and was also walking the ramp for Manish Malhotra. But the trip was short and unfortunately, I didn’t get to enjoy Goa at all.” Amanpreet Wahi was there with her family and boyfriend Raghav, with whom she was planning an unusual trip to Thailand.
Exotic :
The acting high commissioner of Mauritius, Mrs Sohowan, released the calendar along with all the beauties. The calendar has been shot in the exotic locales of Mauritius by photographer Sumiko Murgai Nanda, and the make-up of the girls was by Angelina Joseph.
Fashion fundas :
Pooja C was sporting a flowing green gown that got a lot of attention. About her choice of outfit, she said, “It was designed by a Mauritian designer and I loved it for its earthy colour and design.” Puja Gupta flaunted a Hemant Trevedi outfit.
A good time : Also seen having a good time were Anu and Shaleen Jain, former Miss Sri Lanka Jaqueline Fernandes and Hasan, Ramneek, choreographer Lisa Verma and Meenakshi Dutta. The show was organised in association with Seagrams Limited, Mauritius Tourist Promotion Authority, Air Mauritius and Shanti Anandi.
