BILLIONAIRE Donald Trump thinks Australia's latest Miss Universe entrant has a beautiful body – and he won't hold it against her.
The New York tycoon will endorse Erin McNaught as Australia's entrant in his beauty pageant next month, despite attempts to strip the Queensland university student of her crown after it was revealed she posed topless for a men's magazine.
Named winner of the preliminary final in Melbourne on June 9, McNaught has since battled to keep the title after the racy pictures, published in Zoo magazine, emerged.
One of the judges, Perth-based Jonathan Westbrook, claimed McNaught's pictorial past no longer made her a suitable role model and called for her to be stripped of her crown.
But Trump officials have given the 24-year-old the all-clear and are expected to release a statement dismissing the protests and welcoming the Gold Coast beauty to the international finals in Los Angeles next month.
Final approval also was being sought from US TV network NBC, co-owner of the pageant.
Organisers expect McNaught to leave Sydney for LA on Wednesday, in preparation for the finals, which start on July 24.
